The Rope To Silk Trick

Original version from 1980s

A red rope is passed through your hand and turns into a White silk handkerchief.

Basic Effect: Show your hands empty. Pick up a long red rope. With a single magical gesture, the rope changes into a white silk. 

We found a few of these packages in our warehouse. The copyright on the package says 1981.This was Mr. Art Kahn's owner of Zanadu Magic next "hit" effect after releasing his famous "Color-Changing Rope Trick" that took everyone by storm in the late 1970s.

Please Note: We are selling these strictly as a historical collectible magic item. They have not been opened or tested to see if they will still operate. In fact, we doubt they would hold up to constant pulling and reset as the silk has been stored for over 30 years. Use at your own risk of breakage, we will not replace the item.

Skill Level: Beginner. Suitable for ages 7 to adult.
